Christopher Nolan or Quentin Tarantino?
Tarantino hands down. He has already made a couple of epic American films. But I did like Inception.
I'd have to say Tarantino only because I was just thinking about how good he is before I saw this question lol.

Show me someone who made movies like Tarantino before Tarantino and I'll show you someone who doesn't know what their talking about. He officially blurred the line between high and low brow. PS Basterds isn't perfect but the brilliance is all in how loosely he plays it, not just in a historical sense, but in pacing.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
