Code generation from external text template — should I write regular C# tool or use text template tool?

I think T4 will work just fine for your needs. Check out the section "Design-time T4 text templates" in this MSDN link . It describes reading an XML configuration file to drive the code generation.

You basically put the code that reads the input file into the first part of the . Tt file, and then later reference what you read in as you lay out the classes.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
