There are quite a few, though the best ones do not allow you to transfer in after 10th grade. If you are already in 9th grade, it is already too late to do this. The application had to be in by this past December.
9th graders can apply in the December of 9th grade for transfer in 10th grade. After that, it gets MUCH harder. The very best performing arts school, Laguardia, will not allow anyone to enter after 10th grade.
This is a firm rule. There are other good performing arts schools: Frank Sinatra School of the Arts Professional Performing Arts Talent Unlimited But these schools probably will also not allow you to transfer after 10th grade. A few other performing arts schools might allow this, but I don't know.
You might try the following: Gramercy Arts Brooklyn School of the Arts Also, go to the following link from insideschools.org: http://insideschools.org/high Go the the part of the page where you search for a high school. Click the box next to the words "Arts Focus" and click "Go". This will provide you with all the high schools with a good arts program.
But be careful. Some are for Fine Art (drawing and painting, etc.) Look only for Performing Arts. Good luck.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
