Computer "double trouble" - really! When I click on desktop icon to open Internet Explorer I'm getting a double action of two webpages opening up. It happens in Int Expl and in Microsoft Windows too.
I have Vista and there are no viruses that I'm aware of or that AVG might have found. I had a techie over last week but he didn't zero in on this problem yet and has suggested I get a new mouse. Can a mouse cause duplication of webpages (plus some other mysterious things happening, but later)?
Advice appreciated. Asked by goldie080 29 months ago Similar questions: Computer double trouble click desktop icon open Internet Explorer action Computers > Software.

Computer "double trouble" - really If you have Internet Explorer 8 on your computer, you would be better off going back to Internet Explorer 7. I had problems with my computer and had a tech from Verizon take over my computer and fix what was wrong. I also have Mozilla Firefox.
The tech told me to use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer 8, because there are a lot of bugs in IE 8. Ever since I've been logging on to the internet with Mozilla Firefox, I haven't had any problems at all. 3 I'm with Lin on this; I have seen this behavior umpteen times with IE. You can download FF without interfering with your IE settings; and if (it will) works better you can import all your settings to FF. mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upgrade.html?f... .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
