Computer question- I am on windows XP Media Center Edition- when I click "switch user" nothing happens. (see details) I normally operate on a limited account but when I use the Admin account and click switch user still nothing happens. I am certain that my computer is virus-free and it is in very good condition- fairly new, fully defragged, lots of space left, good amount of RAM and fast processer, etc.So I think it has to be a software problem or something obvious that I am overlooking.

There are couple possible causes. From techrepublic"" Insufficient memoryFor Fast User Switching to work properly, Windows XP must have at least 64 MB of RAM. Although this is a defined minimum, Microsoft states that the system must have at least 120 MB of free RAM or XP will deactivate Fast User Switching.

This can especially be a problem if the system shares video memory with main memory. In addition, for Fast User Switching to work properly, the currently logged on user may have to exit a few programs. Domain membershipFast User Switching will not work if you're using Windows XP Professional and the computer is a member of a network domain.

Third party programsThird-party programs, such as the Novell client and the Citrix client, replace the Microsoft Graphical Identification and Authentication file (Msgina. Dll). Fast User Switching requires Windows XP's original Msgina.

Dll file. Check third-party applications to see if they replace this file. Incompatible applicationsEven though Fast User Switching is supposed to allow one user to keep applications running while another borrows the computer, some applications aren't compatible with this feature.

You can use the Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit. "Also make sure it is enabled in the control panel. Sources: http://www.zdnet.com.au/insight/soa/Why-WinXP-Fast-User-Switching-doesn-t-work/0,139023731,139115748,00.htm .

How do I move my entire Windows Media Player Library of Music (Windows XP) to new computer with Windows 7, using an exte.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
