Cooking for One: Quick And Easy Dinner Recipes?

Uncle Ben's now has a 90 second in the microwave flavored rice. Add a little ground round and if you want a few veggies and you have a quick meal. Nice thing about it is you might even have enough left over for one more serving depending upon how many things you add to it.

They come in several different flavor varieties and are very affordable.

Cast Iron Veggie Pizza is as quick as it comes and there are so many ways to change it up to your liking. Buy some pizza dough from your grocer and cut it in half, as you'll only need half of it for a pizza for one. Roll out the dough until it is about 9-10" in diameter.

This will be big enough to fit in your pan and come up the sides to hold in all of the yummy toppings and sauce. Of course, you can always roll the dough out a little more and then stuff the crust with cheese! Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

Using an 8" cast iron pan, LIGHTLY coat the inside of your pan (sides included) with a bit of olive oil. Sprinkle some seasoned bread crumbs onto the bottom of the pan. Lay your dough into the pan.

Spread a few tablespoons of prepared tomato sauce or diced tomatoes in sauce onto the dough. Add your favorite toppings. I added chopped garlic, baby corn, sun dried tomatoes, basil, shredded carrot, and pine nuts.

Top it off with some parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. This time is for baking in a convection oven.

Traditional oven users will need to add approximately 5-10 minutes to their cooking time. Cheese should be melted, slightly browned (not burnt) and crust will be a nice golden color. I hope you enjoy this recipe. It is one of my favorites that I've created.

I love boxed soups. Then when I have leftovers from a dinner out or just a dinner I made at home I can add them to a boxed soup to have a completely different meal. For instance I'll add a leftover:pasta dish to either a tomato or broth souprice dish to almost any soupmeat (shred or chop) and add to any soup with cooked veggiesSometimes I'll try a frozen meal and find it not to my liking, but when I add it to a boxed soup, suddenly it's delicious.

If you want a healthy option and you like salmon I recommend one of my favourites- oven baked salmon. It takes about 15mins and is great alternative for the microwave dinners. Preheat fan-forced oven to 180 degrees celsius.

Put a layer of tin foil on bottom of oven tray. Sprinkle some olive oil on top of foil. Place salmon steak on tin foil and put in oven for about 12 mins.

While salmon is baking make the sauce mixture. Mix about 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise with half a teaspoon of crushed garlic and half a teaspoon of soy sauce. After 12mins take the salmon out and spread mixture on the salmon. No need to turn the salmon over.

Turn on your grill (on high) and then place salmon under grill for about 3 mins (or until the sauce becomes brown). Enjoy!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
