Could you pass a DMV behind the wheel driving test right now?

My daughter is taking her behind the wheel driving test on Friday, and it has made me much more aware of my driving! So... I was wondering if the average adult could pass it. What do you think -- could you?

Driving test Right now, I would probably fail on backing into a parking spot. I wasn't very good when I first took my drivers test years ago. I've let it lapse but have practised off and on.

Which reminds me now I should still try and practise that. Another tough one for me is parallel parking! I drive to find an open spot so I don't have to parallel park!

You bet. I am one of the safest drivers out there. I obey all traffic controls, signal when I am going to do something and perform parallel parking all the time.

However, do I think the "average" adult could? Not if they drive the way the already do for the examiner. Most of them would fail.

Remember when you couldn't get behind the wheel without sweaty palms? Lots of things that looked huge as a teen look a lot different now. After driving mumble mumble decades, I have mastered even the tightest parallel parking, taking off from a stop on a steep hill with a clutch, driving a huge moving van when my car was a mini...and the biggest trial, teaching a couple of teens to drive without endangering everyone else on the road!

My favorite part was putting them in my car, which has a clutch (by choice! Evil laugh! ).

It wasn't my fault though, my parents didn't want to have to come back if I were to fail so my step-mom came up right next to me and started telling me the answers (thats when the sheriff kicked me out)...I passed with flying colors the next time on my own. With my driving test, well the guy passed me but told my dad that I wasn't ready to drive...how odd.

Anyways I used to do valet parking for 2 years, so I think im decent with a car and could easily pass a driving test.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
