Creative Writing: If you could write a Santa letter to Askville, what would you ask for?

I'd like to see your letters. What things does Askville have in it's power to grant for you?(I know this is early, but if you ask now we may have it by Christmas. ) Asked by Lady_Wolf_is_Lost 50 months ago Similar questions: Creative Writing write Santa letter Askville Amazon > Askville.

Santa, baby... Dear Askville Santa, I know that everyone is clamoring for the same thing this year, but I’d really appreciate it if you could release Questville. I’ve been wondering about it since I joined (Sept. 6th!) and can’t wait to see what it is.

I’ve been a very good Askviller this year. I have a strong percentage of best answers and have become a member of the Askville community that plays well with others. If you release Questville, I promise to continue with my good behavior.

I have also been working very hard towards acquiring experience points in a few subjects. I would really like L2 in Evil Poppet, L3 in Riddle or Riddles, and L5 in Random Crap for Askville-Celebration-Day. Please?

I promise to clean the kitchen and take out the trash and finally unpack the rest of my stuff if I can have them. I’ll even be nice to people I don’t like and answer all the "What is Questville?" questions I see if I can have them. Please?

Pretty please? With a cherry on top? Thank you, EmpressPixie Note to the reader: a few of the "Please may I have this level" begs are for things that I’m not actually to the level below what I’m asking for.

Because it’s Askville Santa, I can do this..

Dear SantAskville Claus, I have been a very good king this year. I have made no attacks on the neighboring kingdoms, my dungeons are empty and the rack has been placed in storage. Despite my excellent behavior this year, which should cause me to be richly rewarded come Christmas I have a very short list for you to fill.

First on my list is a voting system that very closely resembles the old model. It is such a good old model that I would like to see it remain basically the same for years to come. Second on my list are some topic combinations.

We have so many little plural topics running around and unloved and I wish to see them find a nice home. Foods should be combined with food, recopies with recipe and so on. Please help these lonely little plurals out.

The third thing on my list is an Askville page of fame. Askville needs a place where great achievements are recognized. For example the person who has given the most great answers in a week should be enshrined there, as should the person who has given the highest percentage of great answers in a week.

The person who has been Askviller of the Day the most times deserves a spot as does the person who has the highest coin totals in a day, week and month. Finally oh kind one I would like to see some superpowers above level 2 and maybe, just maybe a little more insight into Questville. Sources: Your Friend, The King .

Discuss. Dear Askville Santa, I hope you’ve had a restful year. Mine has been hectic, but I’m looking forward to the holiday, even though I’m not ready for it yet.

I have only a few Christmas wishes. First, I would like those looooong "LOADING" pauses to go away. Sometimes Askville locks up and sometimes, eventually, it comes around.

But the really distressing thing about it is that I lose my entire answer when this happens. It’s really hard to recreate that stuff. If I could ask for only one thing, this would be it. Second, I would like to know what the idea is for I don’t want to rush the opening; if the tech heads need more help, let them have it.

A hint would be nice, though; just a little sketch of what you guys have in mind and how it would work. Finally, I realize that you’re an asset manager, not a magician; but if you have a fix in with the Nice Fairy, ask him to wave his magic wand and scatter some nice dust around. It would be wonderful to be able to disagree like adults without personal attacks and sniping.

Now I guess you want my justification for making these requests. I can’t really give an accounting of my behavior here in terms of good and bad. There’s no way for you to verify all the spontaneous rants I’ve had the good sense to cancel before sending; no way for me to prove how many opportunities I’ve passed up to stir the pot; no way to count all the questions I’ve passed by, discretion being the better part of valor.

All I really can say is that I’ve been honest; I guess it depends on your perspective (and possibly your politics) whether that is a good or a bad thing. So that’s my list. Thanks for your attention and consideration.

I hope you have a happy and healthy ’08. Abdo P.S. As usual, I’d also like a puppy. Sources: me wee under-caffeinated brain!.

Letter to Santa Dear Santa, I would love to be able to play games in Askville.... or maybe in Questville! And earn coins for playing them. My favorite recommended game would be "Text Twist" where a six or seven letter word is given and then we try to make as many short words as we can, using the letters in that word.It could be timed, competitive, have a cut-off time, or award for the first person to create a goal number of words...and it would be lots of fun!

And I also wish all Askvillers a warm and wonderful Christmas! Donna Video .

Dear Askville Santa This year, I have been a very Ritalin-addled little girl. I have compulsively pillaged and I have often helped my co-workers with their antics. And I always say thank you, which makes me seem like I care, so I deserve lots of presents this year!

Please bring all this stuff for me and the people in my life: For my mommy, please bring Prozac. For my daddy, please bring a new Rogaine prescription. For my big brother, please bring a new subscription of How to Take Blame Eloquently.

For my cats, please bring me a tranquilzer gun. Oh – and for my big sister, please bring some different perfume (cough cough). Now about me!

Please bring me the Askville feature of seeing if my friends are online or off. Oh and a Take Back button, please. But if you can’t, just remember that more than anything Santa, what I really really want is just $100,000,000 or an easy bake oven!

Anyway, I hope you like the leftovers I left out for you. Affectionately, ~Shayla~ PS: Please say hello to Ralph, the heartless Elfin slavemaster and don't forget my grape koolaid. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
