Cross-platform Python GUI suitable for taskbar (Win) and menubar (mac) functionality?

See this related SO answer on how to accomplish Windows system tray/OS X menu bar functionality in wxPython.

Here's an example for PyQt. This works for me on MacOS X; I haven't tried it on other platforms. Note that the QSystemTrayIcon class will raise exceptions if it doesn't have an icon – I grabbed the RSS feed svg from Wiki commons for my icon.

Svg (but you can give QIcon a PNG directly and not mess around with QtSvg).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
