Dear Muslims, why can a muslim man have more than one wife?

No permission is necessary...however, some countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan have made it a requirement to seek the current wife's permission. This is unIslamic and not supported by Islamic jurisprudence. Strangely, mullahs in India have not allowed this amendment in the Muslim Personal Law.

Yeah thats true, its unnesasay to ask permission, but for me personally it would show respect if you do, I mean in todays modern society people wouldnt understand so I think its nicer to at least inform the wife before you do :).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
