Same speed or double the frontside bus of the processor. That's all you need to worry about - and even then, the speed differences caused by mismatching bus speeds are minimal.
Doubt it will make much a difference. The North Bridge is the part of your PC Bus that deals with CPU to RAM & video card communication. So long as you make sure your RAM is operating at the full Bus speed your Performance should well be optium for your equipment.
If your looking into high performance tasks that might dictate your processor and its L1,2 cache size & of coarse your motherboard bus speed. If your really about optimizing downloads, internet, and that kind of stuff that will probably filter on average though your South Bridge and well hardware doesn't really matter as much as configuration and OS. (Example: 64 bit windows has a optimized TCP/IP stack that improves Web Performance).
A good site for hardware might be PC Perspective which has a show on the TWIT network.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
