Dewey Classification Question I have a question about the Dewey Classification System we use in our library. I have researched the question on the Internet, with our librarians and in several reference books, but I have been unable to find a suitable answer. Hopefully you will be able to shed some light on this matter, or perhaps point me in another direction.My question is not about the numerals used in the Dewey Classification, but the letters used afterwards.
Here is an example of the Dewey Classification we use for: The Iceman Cometh : a play / Eugene O'Neill.812.5 One To complicate matters further our library is part of a 47+ library consortium. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
