I hadn't started seriously with eHow when the UK site was first introduced, but I can understand why you'd be upset. I'd also read on the Suite101 message boards that some people had found their well-advertised articles deleted during a recent sweep and replaced with an article written through Demand Studios. Some people are worried that eHow will eventually scrap the writer compensation program in favor of using all DS-submitted pieces.
I can only hope that doesn't happen. My best advice for you would be to diversify (if you already haven't) and write for a couple main sites. In case something like that happens again, you'll have something to fall back on.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
