The Bush administration did implement a program for tracing guns to the drug cartels. They did so with the full knowledge and cooperation of the Mexican government. They actually did trace some guns but finding it very difficult to do and too easy to lose track, they stopped the program.
What the current administration did they did in arrogance and without any knowledge of the Mexican government. There is little evidence that they intended to track guns and you have to wonder if they really planned on doing anything as the whistle blowers tell us that they were forbidden to attempt to track the guns after they were sold. Stop blaming Bush.
Its old, its tired and most of it is not not true or taken out of context just like this. Grow up and take accountability for your action, Eric Holder and Obama. The blame game needs to end.
Actually, when Bush did it he was working with the Mexican government and he had GPS trackers installed on the guns. Once it was found that the Mexican government was not upholding their end of the bargin he stopped it. What Obama did was not even close to this, he was selling to mules but losing track of the mules and had no trackers on the guns and no agreement with Mexico.
So, Bush did it the correct way and stopped when it was found not to work. Obama decided to try it again without the safety net that Bush had.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
