Did former boxing World Champion Vernon Forrest get killed?

WSB Radio out of Atlanta is reporting that former world champion, Vernon Forrest was shot and killed in Atlanta, GA. According to WSB Radio, Forrest was a victim of an attempted car-jacking. WSB is reporting that Forrest was putting air into his tires at approximately 11PM Saturday night, when two subjects exited a red Monte Carlo, and tried to take Forrest' car.
