Thank you for this question, AJ, star for you! It's not just one or two things. It's not just about tax breaks for the rich.
It's been an ongoing pattern all through Obama's presidency. The Repubs are doing everything they can to make sure the economy doesn't improve, and in fact that nothing good happen for anyone as long as Obama is our President: (There is more than this, but YA limits us to ten urls.) This is amazing! This is exactly what MSNBC reported about Bush speaking about how Dems blocked oversight and investigations into Freddy and Fanny before they collapsed...... Seriously, it's politics. If I dial up Olberman on TV and listen to the grabage he spews, and get on YA and start quoting him to make Dems look bad, don't you think that would stir the nest?
Don;t confuse Commentary with News, Fox has like 3 hard news shows a day, the rest is commentary. CNN has like 3 hard news shows, the rest commentary. MSNBC...well, it's all commentary.
They are all left or right of center. This fact is not debatable. Fox is right, CNN is left, MSNBC is Progressive (code name for socialist wannabes).
Get used to it, we all have. And if the next thought in your head is to defend your news source as "unbiased" then you are in denial. The best you can do is educate yourself on the topic and turn your "bias" filter on.
If there is one huge story and all the cable news and broadcast news cover it, you will get 7 different stories. And god forbid the back and forth between the talking head and field person, you will see the lean. Sofballs, coaxing, and the like.
Grow up.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
