I guess China fell behind in their solar production as their panels are cheaper than US made and therefore more popular.
There's mounting them, and then there's hooking them up so you can use them. If you want to use them to generate electricity for your house, then you need a special inverter that will match the AC phase to the phase of the electricity from the utility. You'll need a licensed electrician to do that, and it will need to be checked by the utility's electrician.
On the other hand, if you have an "off the grid" application, and you're not going to use it for any of your house appliances, then you just mount 'em, like anything else, and attach them to whatever you're intending to use them for.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
