Did the iPad disappoint you?

I don't own an iPad yet. However, I have used my brothers, and I have done a great deal of research on them. When the iPad first came out, I was very skeptical and unsold on the concept.

The more and more I research the iPad, and the more and more iPad apps that come out, the more sold I become. I recently became even more sold when I found out about all the great educational applications. I have a son that is 6 years old.

He is very interested in computers and games, but not school work. I think this would be a great tool to deter him away from those games that aren't educational. I have recently found some great applications I'd like to try myself.

The best part is that many of these are free or very cheap. I think the iPad shouldn't be a disappointment to anyone unless they was excepting it to have ALL functions like a laptop or computer.

I'm in somewhat of a different position. New gadgets are of no importance to me, and usually, I don't concern myself with them. But from researching iPad questions, I've learned a lot about it and I can see where a lot of people would find it very valuable and convenient.

Since I had no prior expectations about the iPad, I couldn't be disappointed nor excited about it. But I think that it would be beneficial for writers, students, and business people. I think being able to read books on it is a real plus, and the various apps that are offered for it make it even more appealing.

From everything I read about it, as long as people understood that it is not a phone and wasn't designed to replace a phone, they shouldn't be disappointed at all. I think it's a little odd that it doesn't have a built in camera. That seems like that would have been a standard feature.

And I also think the $500.00 price tag is a little steep. I probably wouldn't buy one for myself right now. But if the price comes down in the future, I would consider it.

No, as I don't own one yet. But if I could own an iPad well that I think may take longer as I only want to buy it from Mahalo Store and I currently have M$33 in my account, lol. And since I already knew about the limited features and capabilities of the iPad, I think I would not be surprised and if I would buy it, I sure would not be disappointed anymore. As time goes, I am seemed slowly convinced to buy one but that would be next to notebook or laptop.

With the super cool accessories and apps that I can have with the iPad, I am not totally saying no to it as I think it could be helpful and that I can get used to it too.

I can honestly say that yes, the iPad did, in fact, disappoint me. I personally do not own one, but one of my good friends bought one a while back. I've had the opportunity to use it more than a few times, and I can honestly say that the hype completely out weighed the performance.

I think that when push comes to shove, I'm much better off with a simple laptop. I have also gotten this response from numerous people that I've talked to that are actually upset that they had spent the money to purchase one, and I, for one, am glad that I did not spend my hard earned money on something so trivial. So, in short, yes, It was extremely disappointing after it had been released.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
