Did the Oscars miss Farrah Fawcet durint their tribute to those who have died or did I miss her?

You're fine. They left her out. WHY NOT AT THE OSCARS?

Actress Farrah Fawcett, who died last year, was honored in the "In Memoriam" section of the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January. (Kevin Winter/Getty Images) Fawcett died on the same day as Michael Jackson, another artist better known for his work in an industry other than film. And yet, Jackson appeared in the memorial tribute.

Fawcett -- more popular on the small screen than the silver screen -- did not. No apologies from the Academy: "Every year it's an unfortunate reality that we can't include everybody," Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences spokeswoman told The Associated Press. Fawcett appeared in the 1976 film "Logan's Run," 1986's "Extremities" and the 2000 film"Dr. T and the Women," among others."There are often quibbles with the selections for the Oscar memoriam, but Fawcett's credits - and her celebrity - would seem to qualify her for the tribute," The Associated Press continued.

Academy executive director Bruce Davis said before the ceremony that the memorial section was always tough to deal with. "It is the single most troubling element of the Oscar show every year, because more people die each year than can possibly be included in that segment," the UK Telegraph quoted. But even celeblogger Perez lton thought the Academy messed up.

"Why was Farrah Fawcett snubbed? Awful!" he wrote on Twitter. MTV rounded up others the "In Memoriam" tribute didn't include: "Golden Girls" star Bea Arthur, "Tonight Show" sidekick Ed McMahon and actor Ricardo Montalban, who was also known predominantly for TV gigs.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
