Well, the wikipedia article is an interesting read - and while they claim to have met their goals; I think the longer term picture will show that they only succeeded in crippling America's viability in the same way USSR's military machine crippled and ultimately toppled THAT empire. Interestingly, it was THEIR invasion of afghanistan that began their decline as well.

No. Its just gotten to the fact they can't lie why they really went in there and have to pull out since they make make up any more lies that everyone would believe. There's no one to kill and no major crisis they can make the american people believe is a threat when it really was all about something else.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
