Did the state of Alabama spend time to pass a resolution honoring Carrie Prejean aka Miss California?

Two reasons. The first is that they truly believe that she did a good thing. The second is politics.It's easy to score political points by passing resolutions against gay marriage (in certain areas--Alabama, for example).

The people who authored this resolution, and all the people who voted for it, got points for doing so. It also forces those who support gay marriage to take a stand for it, which can hurt them in southern elections.It happens all the time in the states, as well as in DC.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
