Did you know that border patrol guys are getting bought off by Mexican drug cartels?

Zetas and drug cartels hate all cops. Actually they hate anyone who tries to interfere with their business and yes boarder patrols do that. But he should be safe, cartels don't usually fight with US officers, they mostly fight the Mexican ones.

US Customs & Border Patrol are technically considered law enforcement agents. As such they are not liked by a number of people from irritated American citizens to the illegals seeking to enter the US territory. Laredo is a hot spot for entry into the US for a number of items - drugs, weapons, stolen vehicles, cash, and even smuggling people.

Normally the gangs and other criminals do not actively seek out American law enforcement agents as targets for killing or retribution due to the substantial support available. However, they are hamstrung by policies of the US government which limits when they can act which makes them targets. Such as people throwing rocks at them while on patrol or someone shooting at them from the Mexican side of the Rio Grande.

Additionally, if an officer appears at the wrong place at the wrong time there is a good chance they will harm or kill them. A border patrol officer was killed in Lardeo in April of this year by a Zeta member. Make no mistake, the Zetas and other organizations of the type are in substantial control of the Mexican border towns and actively branching out into the US territory as they seek to secure their routes and operating areas.

The Mexican, US and Texas governments are not sending additional law enforcement and military to Lardeo and other border areas because they have nothing better to do. It is a dangerous area to work and will worsen as the obama administration and Janet Napolitano of Homeland Security are weak on the enforcement policies. Until the US secures our side the Mexican government does not stand a chance of securing theirs.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
