I had no idea that a question on Answers can rank higher than the topic page on Mahalo. I can't watch the tutorials, I listened one time and only caught one sentence the whole time except for a video they showed and the Twitter chat so I can watch videos separately later but miss the tutorials (slow connection etc) I have Google Analytics but have not done much with it, am very busy doing basic repair to pages yet. I do have a page that I picked a few featured videos recently that look promising but haven't had a chance to really study them or do anything afterwards How to Use Google Analytics Videos .
I wondered when I inlinked from the title whether it makes a difference to Google if you also have a Twitter hashtag in the question or whether Google even knows what a Twitter hashtag is, but it looks kind of odd there so I don't do it often. I also wonder if it makes any difference that there are links in the details of the question or not for SEO ranking, that is, is more better or not? Did you see all the NCIS merchandise they have on the NCIS Cast page?
#ncismerchandise http://www.mahalo.com/answers/ncis/did-you-see-all-the-ncis-merchandise-they-have-on-the-ncis-cast-page-ncismerchandise For this question, I have 4 pages so I put them all inlinked from the title and also on the page. I wondered when I wrote it whether Google ranks a page higher from the inlinks in the title or is it the same if they are inlinked or the url is in the body of the question so I don't really know which way to go on it, sometimes this, sometimes that and try different things. The inlinked title looks odd on Twitter and I wonder about that too.
Which NCIS Cast member will become the most popular over time - will it be Mark Harmon, LL Cool J, or Chris O'Donnell? http://www.mahalo.com/answers/entertainment/which-ncis-cast-member-will-become-the-most-popular-over-time-will-it-be-mark-harmon-ll-cool-j-or-chris-odonnell I was a bit uneasy just putting an additional inlinked phrase in the details without a visible url below, so I told people to click on it. In some examples I put the inlinked brackets around the term in the title then repeated it in the details, and then also put the full Mahalo url but they both show up in blue so that seems a bit too much so I don't do that anymore. In my Twitter http://www.twitter.com/remotev I was wondering if Twitter would pick it up or not in the searches because there are brackets and would the folks think it looked weird on Twitter because it is not inlinked in Twitter so you just see the brackets - so I still wonder which is best - is it equally good to inlink in the details of the question for Google ranking?
Or do you need to do it in the title also to get the good ranking? And I wonder if Twitter search picks up a search with square brackets around it or if their search engine gets confused, because when you have a hashtag Creative Commons by Flowery *L*u*z*a.
Thanks for sharing your observations on answer pages. It never occurred to me to consider the SEO possibilities for Mahalo Answers. I will definitely pay more attention to taking a little extra time to find a Mahalo page to include in the future.
However, I did happen to answer a question earlier today in which I included a Mahalo page as a reference. mahalo.com/answers/anonymous/how-do-u-ma....
I will need to remember this little tip thanks.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
