If that is indeed the case, which I do not believe it is, then I would say that is the demise of Craigslist. I for one believe that it is only a matter of time before another website replaces Craigslist. Craigslist is a little like the wild west of classified ads and some day that is going to backfire on them.
One only needs to research how Craigslist makes money to see that they are profiting almost entirely from their adult type ads.
First they get or make a flagging script. Then they get an email generator and a proxy scraper to constantly find, test and substitute someone elses ip addresses instead of their own. You can go to whatsmyip.Com to see your ip, which is primarly what CL uses to track user activity.
You program the script to find proxies within a relatively nearby zone so you "emulate" a local user. There was a time a few years ago when one could buy flagging software such as CL Flagger, Feros Auto Flagger, Easy Ad Remover, Craigsflagger.Com, CL Bot Pro, CL Supreme Machine from Bodeezy or join a flagging forum like craigshitmen. Com and flag the flaggers back.
This "Scorched Earth" policy worked wonders, but CL has bought out or successfully sued nearly every major flagging player. Nowadays the only way to get a good script is to sniff around the blackhat forums or join a "homesteaded forum" or join, as you say, some other "Flagging Forum". There was a time when the Boise R&R section had 500 posts a day, but this family took over and flags hundreds of posts a day, any opinion that offends them whatsoever (flagging "greyly") and other weeks they flag every single post except theirs just to dominate others and overcompensate for their issues (flagging "freely").
After two years of this censorship I would so love to get my hands on a script and get those monkeyholes back. Grrrr!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
