Didn't God say he would not come to Earth?

Because God the Father is greater than God the Son. Jesus was referring to his flesh man which is not of God. Flesh is made from the earth.

This is just another Trinity argument. In order to understand how Jesus is God you must realize that God the Father indwelt the FLESH BODY of God the Son - and that made Jesus God as well - technically some of God, but not all of him. He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Jhn 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Jhn 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
