¿Diferencia entre ateo y agnóstico.?

El ateo no cree en la existencia de Dios o dioses. En general tampoco cree en ningún tipo de cosa sobrenatural (aunque no es condición para ser ateo, por ejemplo tienes a los ateos espiritistas, que creen en espíritus). El agnóstico, contra lo que muchos creen, no es el que duda sobre la existencia de Dios.

Para el agnóstico no está al alcance de la mente humana determinar la existencia o inexistencia de Dios. Hay agnósticos teístas (creen que Dios es posible pero no afirman su existencias) y hay agnósticos ateos (no creen en Dios pero no niegan su existencia) y también agnósticos que no tienen posición tomada en ninguno de los dos sentidos.
