Hi Leah I have been a massage therapist for 11 years and have my own private practice in my home. I also am a webmaster of a massage education website. Although Kinesiology is a large part of what you will learn in massage school, it is not something you have to take in high school.
You will learn all you need to know in massage school. If you are attending a 2-year college, you will not be as pressured to learn the terminology as in a 6-month or 9-month traditional massage school program. If you are attending a traditional massage school, it may not be a bad idea to take the kinesiology.
That will certainly give you a big advantage, because the pressure will be great anyway, trying to learn it all in a short time. The website that I created is for people like you, who are wondering about massage school and massage therapy careers. It also gives recommendations of which table, chair, and supplies to purchase.
I hope you can look through it. I think it will answer many of your questions. Please feel free to contact me via the website if you have other questions.
I hope I've helped Tina.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
