Disabling 2g/3g android?

APNdroid and APN OnOff do this. They both change the APN for the mobile network to a valid/invalid value on click. The end results is having a data stream or not.

Ok thank you for your quick response I understand. I just downloaded the apndroid but I still can browse the internet. – Jonathan Jul 24 at 9:15 @Jonathan: Have you explicitly disabled data from the app or the widget?

They both work for me. (Also make sure you are not on wifi. ) – junjanes Jul 24 at 9:19 yes the notification pops up saying that there is no network but I can still browse the web and the widget app redirects me to the system settings as inazaruk stated.

– Jonathan Jul 24 at 9:25 I have verizon wireless and the moto droid. That might be the reason. But how r they able to disable the 3g on some phones?

– Jonathan Jul 24 at 9:31 @Jonathan: Can you provide your APN name (Wireless & Networks->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names->->APN) when the widget is turned on/off. (not the data switch in system settings)? It could be a carrier related problem but this is not reflected in the market comments for these two and other apps with similar functionality.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
