The atheist argument from ignorance ("there is no evidence") is self defeating. I believe there is a God because of the evidence I have examined. When an atheist asserts "there is no evidence" the only thing he has succeeded in doing is confirming that he has not examined the issue as deeply as I have and so he has nothing new or convincing to add to the conversation.
Instead of mocking the atheists admission of personal ignorance you should thank him, for not wasting your time by pretending he has something to contributed to the discussion.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
