Do Cell Phones Cause Cancer? I put my mobile phone in trousers pocket, the side of my leg will be very itching, I remove the cell phone to another side, that side of leg become very itching?

A phone battery may heat up. Nothing to do with radiation except the thermal kind.

While it is true that the link between cancer and cell phones has probably not been conclusively proven either way, I think it is safe to assume that the itch you feel has nothing to do with the radiation from your phone. Think of it this way. If radiation from your phone can cause an itch to happen within mere hours or days, then such a link would have been very easy to prove. It's probably just a rash or an allergic reaction.

Could be possible that an allergic reaction to whatever the outside of the phone is made of. I've heard of this cancer link, and it could be possible, but maybe those people are already predisposed to cancer, and it gives it a boost! I'm not scientific so I don't know.

But I do know I don't like bluetooth because I even find ear phones annoying, so I do find myself using speaker phone, even when I'm out. If it's not a long or personal call, I can usually hold my phone up to a comfortable position and just talk and listen without holding it to my ear. I don't do it in public as it is rude.

But while driving I will turn on speaker and set the phone on my shoulder and talk hands free.

Perhaps you just have itchy legs?! Or, perhaps you have a scratchy phone?!

My friend, please don't worry ursef about cellphone and cancer. They don't hav any relationship. D only form of radiation that emmit frm cellphone is a litle thermal radiation, dis can never result to cancer unless your battery is been short circuited which may lead to high thermal radiation.

I beleive wat you feel is the weight of d phone resting on your thigh. Any other heavy object culd hav cause d same itching, try putting a bunch of keys or even your wallet in d front pocket of your pant,u will still feel d same as dat of d one caused by cellphone! Thanks.

Hmm.. scientists not agreeing on this one yet. But some people like taxi drivers and trades people who used cell phones every day for 20 years did get brain tumors so I would keep it away from my head / body whenever possible. Geoff D.

There is a small independent research study that believes to have discovered a link between cell phones and cancer. The article is very interesting and I included the link below for your review. Considering there are 4.6 billion people using cell phones around the world*, the number of cancer cases associated with cell phone use is extremely small.

Nevertheless, if you are concerned about safety, you may want to consider using ear phones and keep your cell phone in a purse or holstered on a belt to keep the phone away from your body. redorbit.com/news/technology/1255076/sc*... Jim, I get the same response, some times I feel a little tingle. I once heard it was the electromagnetic waves in the phone that do that. They interfer with the bodys energy flow... So you never know......

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
