Well examine the US's election cycle. Near the point where voters are to go to the ballot and make their voices heard; some racial charged based upon fear is used: Willie Horton, Susan Sharrod, etc...The party that uses such fear tactics generally is the party that can stand on its own merits and have nothing to offer.
Traditionally many years ago in the days prior to our civil war Democrats were the racist's that blocked freedom for slaves. In the 1950's Democrats blocked attempts by Republicans to enact civil rights legislation. Then they saw the light and as a party decided they had better get on board.
Since then they have used the black people of this nation, not by overtly being against their equality but by treating them like they cannot ever have equality by themselves so they offered a multitude of programs to them as a way to keep them in bondage. Never have they had true respect for them to give them the opportunity to be self sufficient and free to be the best they can be. The Democrats still treat blacks as though they are not capable of what whites are capable of.
But they use them as political ponds in their power play.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
