Do fish/corals need to be removed from an established reef tank while adding more cured live rock to the tank?

I have a fully established (3 yrs) 50gal reef tank (30lbs LR, 5 soft coral, few fish, 2 shrimp, starfish). I am wondering if I should move the livestock to a QT while I add more fully cured LR to the tank, or would this cause the fish/corals more stress? Any advice or previous experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Just add the rock I use to add LR to my tank on a reg basis. Esp if I was at my local shop when their big orders came in and I saw a piece that looked awesome! Also make sure you have a good base of live sand in your tank, as it is a WONDERFUL filter system and helps keep the tank clean and a safe place for some fish and inverts to hide.

YOU can also order LR direct from Fuji and such and pick it up at a local airport as well. I did that once. 2 of us went in and split about 50 pounds of LR.It was awesome!

Just make sure to watch the temp of the tank esp if the rock is cold! Hope this helps. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
