It seems to me that a person who is trying to uphold the integrity of his company... especially when news is something that is shared with the public, the employer has the right or perhaps the obligation to fire that person in order to keep the integrity of the news high. I wish more news outlets would fire employees who deliver "errors". So many of these "errors" in facts are intentional and blatant, especially when it comes to common sense conservatism!
No, he would not be eligible for UI, and nor would he win any 'case' against his employer. He was fired for cause. Making errors is always cause, whether another company had lower standards is not relevant.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
