Hey there Chris: Many of the 'discount' software stores sell a version that is not meant for resale, and while it will work perfectly fine you may not receive a Certificate of Authenticity label or have any support from Microsoft. I highly recommend purchasing from Newegg, Amazon, or similar. Additionally, you can purchase an upgrade version without needing a prior operating system (see my source).
Finally, OEM is less expensive than retail boxed versions because it does not come with Microsoft support coverage. Most people never call Microsoft for installation help, so this is a non-issue.
I'm 99% sure you will be fine because the software supply site says 'any brand' (and even though your built it, it still is 'any brand'). Then, MS Install instructions say "Windows 7 installation disc" and makes no distinction that it has to be some 'special' one. Per the software supply website.... "This product will be branded HP, Dell, etc. but will do a FULL install on any brand computer and includes a DVD and COA" Per Microsoft's site: Installing Windows 7 on a machine with no existing OS To do this, you'll need to start, or boot, your computer using the Windows 7 installation disc or USB flash drive.
Turn on your computer, insert the Windows 7 installation disc or USB flash drive, and then shut down your computer. Restart your computer. Press any key when prompted, and then follow the instructions that appear.
On the Install Windows page, enter your language and other preferences, and then click Next. If the Install Windows page doesn't appear, and you're not asked to press any key, you might need to change some system settings. To learn how to do this, see Start your computer from a Windows 7 installation disc or USB flash drive.
On the Please read the license terms page, if you accept the license terms, click I accept the license terms, and then click Next. On the Which type of installation do you want? Page, click Custom.
On the Where do you want to install Windows? Page, choose the partition that you want to install Windows 7 on, or click Unallocated Space if no partitions are listed, and then click Next. If a dialog box appears saying that Windows might create additional partitions for system files, or that the partition you chose might contain recovery files or other types of files from your computer manufacturer, click OK.
Follow the instructions to finish installing Windows 7, which include naming your computer and setting up an initial user account.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
