The Consular Section at Washington only serves residents of Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC or West Virginia. Should you reside in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Vermont, or New York you need to address your application to the Egyptian Consulate in New York.
Visa on arrival at the Egyptian airport will only be issued for tourist or business visits of up to 30 days to passport holders of the following Asian countries: Brunei, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Maldives, Nepal, Singapore, Taiwan.
