TMX is a stand-alone application that can be used by itself or on a network. While all of the test creation, maintenance and script generation can be done without the test engine running, you do run the generated scripts with the test engine - so you will need at least one license of the underlying test automation application available. Note that because of the TMX architecture, you can have multiple instances of TMX for each licensed test engine.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
