Do inactive credit cards count less towards your credit score than active ones?

Only if the banks report the loans to the credit bureaus and it sounds like your did not. You most likely have great credit with them, but nobody else. Some banks do this to keep their customers loyal by basically being hostages.

Unfortunately there is no Federal law requiring any lender to report to the credit bureaus unless it's a mortgage loan and it does cost money to do so. Sorry but that's just the way it is.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
