No, leopard gecko's have solid tounges, like us, only they are very thin (Note: I do own a leopard gecko, so I should know).
Lol, I find myself short on time more often now. Yeah, some lizards can "smell" with their tongues in the same manner that snakes do, but Leopard Geckos are not one of those lizards. The ones that can though, aren't really smelling.
They flick their tongues to gather particles from the air and then bring the tongue back in the mouth where the jacobsen's organ analyzes the particles. Its similar to the way smell works, but its not really the same thing. Oh, and what Bitis is talking about is the funny habit many lizards have of actually tasting their surroundings.
They'll touch logs, rocks, potential food, etc with their tongues to examine it, especially if its something new they've never seen (or tasted ) before.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
