Do Liberals Support a $170 Billion Bail-Out For the Unions?

You can expect all of those things you already mentioned, plus - Unions deal in intimidation. Union ties to organized crime are not imaginary. Their most powerful weapon is removing competition.

They are most likely to prohibit others from being hired in their place. I would personally expect them to move for stricter standards. Of course, they will call for higher standards "strictly for the children."

The real purpose will be to restrict the state from hiring replacements. Watch for more illegal strikes. This time not from congress members, but from the unions.

I should also suspect Conservative congress member's wives and children to be targeted, followed, intimidated and frightened. Unions will feel obligated to "teach" other government officials not to mess with union pay or benefits. We can also expect more union propaganda "union busting" lies.

Public unions didn't play fair for the last 40 years. They are hardly going to play fair now. Public unions now make more than non public unions.

Non public unions are being used a useful idiots in promoting public unions demands. There are fundamental difference between private and public sector unions. Public sector unions cannot price themselves out of a job.

Public Union members are going to actually get a raise! They are going to see the money used to pay their dues in their paychecks as the government is no longer going to withhold that money and pay their dues directly. Now they can decide whether or not to pay their dues themselves.... Guess who is going to get a pay cut?

The Union bosses, and I am sure there are some who will opt not to pay the dues.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
