Do liberals support Obama's plan to extend all of Bush's tax cuts?

They seem to be the most upset with the deal on the estate tax. President Obama agreed to a deal that would set an exemption of $5 million per person and a maximum tax rate on estates of 35% a higher exemption and far lower rate than many Democrats wanted. The estate tax lapsed this year, but it was scheduled to return on Jan. 1 with an exemption of $1 million per person and a maximum rate of 55%.

NO. This is a horrible deal, and its no compromise..the republicans got everything they wanted and gave up nothing..and in the end..they PAY NOTHING..no political price, because it passed when the dems were in charge of everything...so they can ( and will) complain about "Obama's out of control spending" that this bill incurs.. Then in 2012 if the economy sux they will say- we cant raise taxes in a recession or if the economy is good...look, the Bush tax cuts worked its a win/win/win for the GOP lose/lose/lose for Obama and the biggest loss will be Obama in 2012.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
