I like women of all shapes and sizes because (unless you just mean in a photogragph) your personality shines through soon enough and that's actually more important (I know you don't believe this) than what dress size you are!

I believed for a long time that men found me distasteful because I was "plump. " Then I discovered that there are men out there (themselves of all shapes and sizes) who actually prefer plus-size women. My husband thinks skinny women are bony; he likes something to hold onto.

And for him, in many cases we larger women have bigger boobs, and he's really into those.

Speaking of online dating: On dating sites men want to see a full-length photo as well as a face photo so they can avoid fat women. They prefer thin with curves (and you know that's nearly impossible! ) or, if not that, just plain thin (that's me), or medium but toned, even if the man himself has a paunch the size of Tibet.

These guys have told me to my face, "I don't like fat women. " Overweight women mostly won't get a second glance, and golly, thanks to their silly prejudice the prejudiced guys are missing out on some wonderful women. And there are also good men with paunches out there; ladies, don't be prejudiced if he doesn't have abs.

Of course I'm not a man - but I think that men prefer women who are healthy looking rather than skin and bones. Hopefully their personality also has some influence.

My experience with men is that they like healthy women who stay in shape. Not anorexic women. But in this country (U.S.), when people say a "healthy" weight, they often mean about 30 pounds overweight. It's the sedentary lifestyle.

No one walks anywhere, people don't eat healthfully, and people make excuses. Of course, every woman's body is different. And so are men's tastes.

To each his/her own, I guess!

I think men and women who adhere to the media's ideal of beauty or try hard to get to look like super models are crazy and should be shot!

It is all about what we think and how we perceive ourselves in our mind's eye. What I think is fat to me is based on my perception of what I think is beautiful. That does not necessarily align with my own perception of how I believe my body should look.

To answer the question more directly, men prefer women who look like their mother or have the same body type similar to their moms. How is that for politically incorrect!

It's all on how you present yourself no matter what size you are. I prefer to have some muscles than be all bones since I used to be a personal trainer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
