Do Mother Opossums take very good care of their babies, offspring? Are they protective?

My kids are 4 years old and 10 months old. And no you're not alone. I too suffer from that paranoia....so does my husband.

Although...in our defense...our driving records are squeaky clean and everyone else in the family has at least one crash... So I know I know ...they're called "accidents" but some people seem more "accident" prone than others... My kids have also never spent a night away from home without me. And my kids don't go anywhere without me. Call it paranoid call it cautious...call it whatever you want...they're my kids..and I don't care what you call it...lol.

I have seen my sister respond to emails while driving. I've seen my mother let go of my sons hand three feet from the train tracks to check her phone. I've seen my mother distracted by sale racks while my son wandered off while I was watching the whole thing.

I've seen my sister almost drop my son because she was fooling with her hair. With this much evidence...it's not paranoia. It's protectiveness with cause as far as I'm concerned.

And ya ya ..my parents raised me and I survived...but given current evidence...sometimes I wonder how.

I was just talking to my friend the other day about this and she is still petrified of letting anybody drive her kids anywhere and they are 8 and 5! I was like that in the beginning. I didn't even want my husband to take our daughter anywhere.

About the only person I trusted was my Mom. She has been in the car with a few other people....he grandpa, her godmother.....and even though I trust them, I always feel "off" until I know she is where she is supposed to be, safe and sound.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
