Do Muslims believe in the Trinity since they believe in the same God?

Muslims don’t believe in the Trinity even though they believe in the same God. To put it in Christian terms, Muslims only believe in the figure known as God the Father. They don’t believe in the Holy Spirit.

They believe Jesus was a prophet of God (whom they call Allah). They don’t believe Jesus was the son of God. The Christian God is believed by Christians to be a triune God or one God who has three manifestations.

Muslims see this as believing in three different Gods and are against it for that reason. They believe Islam to be monotheistic and Christianity to be polytheistic, which they don’t agree with. The word of the Koran teaches that Jesus was a prophet of God but not God (or a part of God) himself.

From Wikipedia.com -quote Muslims believe that God is one and incomparable.2 Muslims also believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith that was revealed at many times and places before, including through the prophets Abraham, Moses and Jesus -endquote.
