Someone may stop you at the store and say I remember you! And they even know your name. But for some reason.

Life That has happened so many times! I always feel horrible that I don't remember but I act like I do. I'll say " Wow, it's been so long, bla bla bla" but I have no idea who it is!

Sometimes I will remember afterwards but other times I still have no clue! .

That has happened to me and it is very embarrassing I keep hoping this person will say something to trigger my memory or I keep looking for a monogram or a name badge, usually ‘no such luck. ’ Eventually I have to openly confess “I can’t remember your name”. If at first introduction you smile and make eye contact as soon as they say their name and you repeat their name back to them within four seconds it is most likely you will never forget their name. Names Oh Rainbowsun if you only knew, I have a very good friend named Carla I call her of all things Car ha ha go figure I mean why not she calls me Tear not like a tear drop but like a tear your clothes off :) it is 106 degrees out side today. Well Car she remembers everybody's name she is like a magnet when it comes to that stuff give her your phone number and that girl has no matter what else is going on around her that number is going around you she will file that number away in some file cabinet drawer in her uncluttered brain she is phenomenal, with names and numbers she is so smart still when we took classes together in school her and Nicole and I took a big test for a huge quality test that would raise our pay by 50% and 4000 people took the test and only 4 people passed it was a 6 hour test and nobody finished the test no answer was 100 % correct but one was more right that the or two was more right than was the other and it was graded on a curve all quality language Nicole passed on the first try it took Car three years to pass the test. Every year my old job the whole company comes to this town for a huge golf tournament (well those who play golf and their spouses) they gamble and party and I go to the casino with Car and her husband the only time I ever go to the casino unless hubby wants to go for the buffet and I run into people and they all say, " I say, "HI" duh I have no idea who they are most of the time sometimes I might if they were a really dear friend but after 13 years of retirement I have forgotten most of them and they have changed a lot I feel so silly .

For quite a while (decades) when I introduce myself as "Daniel Davis" I'd have (half the time) the person think I said "David Davis. " So my inability to remember people's names without writing them down is merely payback.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
