Do police have any moral responsibility when it comes to enforcing bad laws?

Had some prior contact with police, have you? Well, I was a law enforcement officer and supervisor for almost twenty-five years prior to my recent retirement and even I didn't know "most" police officers. My experience was that, like every other profession you can name (doctors, lawyers, judges, teachers, priests, etc), there were some who weren't as cut out for the job as others, or who were attracted to the job for the wrong reasons, and who maybe were better suited for other work.

It's certainly not for everyone, and those not suited for it typically get weeded out in the selection process or early in their careers. There are also a few who bring discredit to the profession, unfortunately, and no one hates seeing and hearing about that more than other police officers. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
