It shouldn't matter all that much. When it's all said and done we are really on our own regardless of which political party is in power. Awhile back I wrote a hub called Polictical Gridlock: It's The American Way!"dashingscorpio.hubpages.com/hub/politicalgr As long as a couple agrees on money issues, household chores, sexual frequency & quality, rasing chidren, and maintain shared goals for the future they will be fine.
Most political arguments are over hypothetical situations which don't effect most people. Even with the wars protest was very limited because we no longer have a draft. Belonging to different political parties should have about as much of an effect on a relationship as preferring to sleep on a particular side of the bed or having different favorite hobbies.
Politics is pratically like sports. Can a Red Sox fan and a Yankee fan survive together? :-).
Not sure if this counts, but I was seeing a guy and had been for awhile. He proudly stated that he voted for Bush. I I proudly never saw him again.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
