Do scientists worry about the `finger on the nuclear button' or about nuclear warheads?

Nuclear warheads are always a dangerous thing and should not be developed. Unfortunately in recent times too much concentration has been put on the nuclear button. The world was going one way to avoid nuclear war and nuclear weapons.

But in recent times the American view of keeping nuclear weapons on is causing more alarm. So we don't know what the future's going to be like. Will the position of the Iraqi scientists be different from the scientists of other countries like India?

I don't know what the views of the Iraqi scientists are. But most likely they will all be similar. Nobody wants nuclear weapons in a condition which can be switched on.

I think they will all try to avoid the use. The whole new principle of developing nuclear weapons is for defence purposes. If it can't be used for defence it's all wasted.

So it is a big dilemma for small countries. I thought the large countries would get rid of nuclear weapons so that they would be in a state where nuclear weapons are an ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
