What all this tax opinion misses is that we (theoretically) live in a capitalist system. As the lottery is a tax on those who didn't learn math in school, so capitalism is a tax on those who have money to gamble. The intelligent gamble isn't the casino but a business because, however much businesses fail, the return is still MUCH better than from any gambling.

The point Ronald Reagan made was that the more money this person had, the more likely this person was to gamble on a business . . .

Which then employs people, which makes your government look good because unemployment drops. This is why so many make him a hero now. But to tax these people is to say that we-the-government know better how to set up businesses with that money than you do.

The sad fact is that the ones who get elected to some governmental office have qualifications to be elected but no qualifications to run a business. The ones who are hired by the government have qualifications to be hired by the government but no qualification to run a business. Thus, these things leak money while civilian-run businesses make money..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
