Do White guys get uncomfortable in history classes that talk about White men raping Black women in the past?

First of all, you are taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall. Second, it sounds like you're breaking the color barrier, which is great... you probably make the others in your class feel relieved that you're not on the current white-hating bandwagon that so many people have unfortunately hopped on.

No big deal....I'm black and I took Irish history in college....I was the only black dude in there.....but then again, I was the only black dude in most of my classes.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
