If you answer questions by building Hubs that answer them, it will might raise your HubScore (that is if you build good Hubs). If you just post quickie answers here, it's not going to have any effect.
I answer questions because it is quick and fun to express myself about things that I would never write about: religion and politics.
I don't believe that answering questions has any effect on hub score. It's a bit of fun.
I don't care about my hub score and the followers I have aren't following me, hopefully, just because I answer questions. I answer questions because that is one of the reasons i'm on here.
It certainly does help in getting your name out there on HubPages and perhaps getting some followers. I don't do it to increase my HubScore which seems to go up and down whenever it feels like it.
I answer because I am liking mingling with the hub community and sharing in everyone's views. I feel like I belong in the group than a passive writer here. I have got active only the past week because of the time off work.
When my hubscores went up inbetween this, I felt for a while it is my answering but I guess not. I won an accolade jump from II to III level commentor just at the same time when my hubscore fell from 98-95 today. Anyway I guess I am enjoying the Q&A...and so will try my best to continue. My score was in the 90s and stayed that way for many months, just fluctuating 2-3 points.
Even having not participated in forums or answering questions at all.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
